Little Hen Tea House is a welcome addition to Las Olas. Located at 1201 East Las Olas Boulevard, this English-inspired breakfast and brunch boutique pairs an imaginative menu with a setting designed to feel like an experience of its own.

The restaurant is filled with pastel colors, floral details, upholstered seating, and polished accents. Every corner feels thoughtfully designed, making it a beautiful choice for breakfast with a friend, a birthday celebration, or an afternoon out.

During my first visit, I ordered the iced matcha latte and cheese omelet. A cheese omelet sounds simple, but this one was fantastic. It was well prepared, flavorful, and a reminder that a restaurant does not need to overcomplicate a dish to make it memorable. The matcha latte was refreshing and paired well with breakfast.

Little Hen describes its menu as a combination of English inspiration, global flavors, familiar breakfast classics, and modern brunch dishes. The restaurant is also known for its Rose Petal Pancakes, served with rose water-infused maple syrup.

What I Want to Try Next

I am looking forward to returning for the Afternoon Tea Service. Little Hen offers its interpretation of the traditional English tea experience with a selection of teas and a tiered presentation of scones and mini sandwiches.

Afternoon tea is available during regular service. Guests should include an afternoon tea request when making a reservation through Resy. It sounds like a lovely option for an afternoon with friends, a birthday, or another occasion worth making feel special.

Little Hen serves brunch and afternoon tea Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Reservations are recommended.
